Bo Diddley 1928-2008 [ Click Here To Watch Video ] One of rocks pioneers has left us. He was a friend to the Hells Angels. I didn't know him well, but for one evening back in the early eighties he made me feel like we had known each other our whole lives. He was playing at the Ventura County Fair, back when they would let us in the fair, and I went to the backstage area and told security to let Mr. Diddley know a Hell Angels member was he here to welcome him to the City of Ventura. He was just as excited to meet me as I was him, just for the record I am not a musician, but as for music trivia I can roll with the best of them. I told him I loved all his music and I had his album "Two Great Guitars" One side is Bo with Chuck Berry backing and the other Chuck Berry with Bo backing. I have a Chuck Berry story too, I will save that for another time, this is Bo's story. We talked music till he went on, he didn't ask me to excuse him as he got ready, he made me part of the process. It was a night I will never forget. He dedicated a song to me that night, so now, Bo this ones for you......... George Christie
